This season has been no joke, and marriages have not escaped its impact. There is a high demand on couples to hold everything together. Regardless of if a marriage is surviving or thriving, couples need a space to pause, reflect and get on the same page moving forward. Just like anything worth keeping around, a marriage needs a tune up every once in a while.
A meaningful & fulfilling marriage takes work.
But what exactly does that “work” consist of? We don’t think that the answer to this is “one size fits all.” Marriage is the committed partnership of two unique and evolving individuals, and so this “work” must be both customized to who the couple is, and who they become over time.
In our experience - the most fulfilling and fruitful seasons of marriage are when we are aligned around a common vision for our future - one that honors and includes each individual’s contribution & design.
During this weekend workshop we will help you create a personalized framework - 5 tools to help you evaluate and answer these questions:
Where are we?
Where do we want to go?
How will we get there?
We believe that a regular rhythm of returning to this framework over time will help you cultivate a more meaningful and fulfilling marriage.

Some disclaimers: (Part of knowing who you are is knowing who you’re not)
We are not therapists. This workshop is not meant for couples who currently find themselves in crisis-mode, are attempting to recover from significant loss, or are looking for help in navigating trauma. If this is you and you would like help being connected to a great therapist - we are more than happy to help you connect to some of the best.
We are not lecturers. We have no interest in inviting you to come listen to us dump a bunch of information on you. This is truly a guided time - which means you can expect to do some work. We will guide you toward healthy and hearty conversations with your spouse and invite you to specifically name what the components of a healthy marriage are for you.
For this workshop, we are not pastors (yes, technically Bekah is one). This offering is not to be confused with your typical Christian marriage retreat. We will not be presenting “biblical” content per se. This weekend is open - and we believe valuable - to anyone, from any tradition. On the other hand, this weekend is very much “Christian” in that we view marriage as sacred and worthy of stewarding toward health.
Also to note: One of the guided opportunities we offer couples as part of Stewart Life Planning is the Couples LifePlan (a 3-day intensive process, fully focused on one couple, where we do a deep dive into each individual’s gifts and passions, cost: $5000). The Re-Set workshop is not a shortened version of the Couples LifePlan. Rather, our hope is to create an alternative offering with valuable tools that is more accessible in cost and time.
